The Pop Star Portrays a Hell Version of Herself in Mockumentary First Look

The Grammy-winning artist is getting ready for a major big screen appearance in 2026, beginning with the satirical film titled The Moment.

Within the project, Charli plays what she refers to as a hell version of herself.

It’s the truest representation of the entertainment world that I’ve ever encountered, the star stated.

She clarified in a conversation: It’s not a tour documentary, yet the concept came from the demand to create one.

A Glimpse into The Moment

The debut trailer, released on this week, blends authentic footage from Charli’s Sweat tour with fictionalized backstage scenes.

The Moment is overseen and co-authored by the director, who shared that the story centers on a world where the singer opted for alternate decisions during the publicity of her chart-topping release Brat.

A Hectic Movie Lineup

This project is just one of many forthcoming movie projects for the musician, who recently starred in three independent movies recently.

Additionally took on her own role in the comedy series Overcompensating.

Future Ventures

The coming year will also include the artist together with Olivia Wilde in sensual story I Want Your Sex, Natalie Portman in creative industry mystery The Gallerist, and Barbie Ferreira in scary reboot Faces of Death.

She also signed on to star in the star’s directorial debut A Tree in Blue.

I’m thoroughly loving my acting journey, she expressed. I’m incredibly motivated currently in that field, and I always choose to take on things that inspire me.

Soundtrack Involvement

Next February will also include the release of the director’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights, which will include new music from Charli.

She is also set to create the soundtrack for the story Mother Mary, starring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, scheduled for release in the coming year.

The mockumentary will be released on January 30.
