The UK airline will offer free quick in-flight connectivity by way of satellite partnership

Flyers flying with British Airways are set to access fast connectivity during flights without charge following a new agreement with the billionaire's space firm.

Free and Quick Internet for All

The carrier stated that this complimentary, “reliable and lightning-fast” wifi service through SpaceX is set to be accessible for customers in economy, business, and first class as of soon.

Expanded Rollout Across Various Airlines

The umbrella company of British Airways, the airline group, confirmed it had secured an deal involving SpaceX to provide wifi coverage on over 500 planes operated by the group's carriers, such as the Irish airline, Iberia, and Vueling.

Uninterrupted Wifi starting at Gate to Arrival

The airline explained that this rollout for the system was included in a multi-billion pound “modernization” program and would offer smooth internet service to travelers starting at boarding to arrival, also when traveling above large bodies of water or far-off locations.
